Spicy House Asian Cuisine in Longmont

Went for lunch and the lunch special is huge. The hot and sour soup that comes with it is crazy good. I would stop in again.

Hot and sour soup was good. Fried rice was boring and egg roll wasn't good. Orange chicken was ok. Ambiance is cheap and hole-in the-wall feel, which is ok. Only canned soda. Not impressed but not disappointed either.

I spoke to the young man that work at this restaurant he is super cool. He is into lace up... his brother is his inspiration his Colorado license plate is lace up.... he is a wonderful sever and thier food is awesome. I would have given them higher porps if I could. Best Chinese food in town and best prices for what you get. Amen Spicy house!!!

Best Thai food in Longmont. Thai kitchen used to be my go to for comfort curry as I like to call it, but this place makes the best green curry I've had in a long time. Also, my kids loved their orange chicken and my wife liked her pad Thai. We will be back.

Loved the food , service was a bit weird , yet friendly.

We've gotten takeout from here twice. Both times they packaged everything super neatly & clean. It made the experience so much better. Their hot mustard is SO hot, which is awesome. Everything we have tried is super good, the orange chicken & wonton soup especially.

Food is fresh and tasty! They have an inexpensive lunch menu and the dinner portion is priced well. All portions are a good size and we always get a to go box for all the meals we eat at Spicy House. The exterior and interior is simple and not much to look at but don't let that detour you. Spicy House is off the main street in Longmont but worth making the trip.

Just moved to this area and wanted to give this place a try as it is fairly close and I've been looking for decent chinese food for years. That search continues... this place was empty, the server seemed surprised we were there, and when I got the food I can see why. It wasn't the worst food ever, but it was OK at best and the fried rice was among the worst I've had ever. Not sure how that is even possible but I promise it happened. The hot and sour soup was pretty solid, but definitely will not be back and would not recommend.

The food here is phenomenal, pretty much anything you get will be tasty. The service is ok. Not great, but not bad either. Lunch took about an hour when we were one of the only ones in the restaurant at 4. If you don't mind a little longer time for sit down, then check this place out. Carry out was luckily speedy though on second visit.

Great place, the food is always fantastic and hope to order something later in the future, kinda forgot my soup but I'll let it slide. Overall I recommend this place to you "Asian" food lovers

Tried this place in the past with a friend and I am hooked ever since. I liked the good vibes and delicious food and drinks. Kudos.

Quiet little spot to go for dinner or lunch. We had the shrimp Thai basil fried rice, the cashew shrimp, edamame , and fresh Vietnamese spring rolls. All of it was delicious and came out quickly. Great service, too! I miss eating here since I moved out of town.

The food is really tasty! I've red some of the reviews and I don't know how their delivery is. But bottom line food was very tasty and service was very quick dining in! Waiters were very nice!

To preface, I (and my group) messed up. We ordered and failed to clarify some important details. Despite that, Spicy House went out of their way in the best way possible to help us fix it. The food was great and I genuinely couldn't be happier with the service. Jessica manned the phones and dealt with me like a pro and Scott was exceptional in getting things fixed for me.

Had a good experience here. General taos chicken was the bomb. Wrong order at first though.

We love the food here, always juicy and fresh. We usually do carryout and never have a problem. But we did delivery twice recently and horrible experience... 1st time they forgot the lo-mein we paid for, and then 2nd time we ordered another day I talked to a lady about the free lo-mein we had as they forgot it the 1st time. Well 2nd time they forgot it again. My kids love the lo-mein so we were disappointed. I paid for it the 1st time and since then I havent received it. Plus they said we were going to get it delivered so we waited for it to sit down and eat.. guess what? 1hr and 30mins later....still no lo-mein. We are disappointed.

Awesome place!! Never been here and was shocked by the great reviews so we decided to give it a try!! So glad we did. Sesame chicken and Mongolian beef was great. We will definitely be back.

Don't be fooled by the name. I've ordered here a few times and asked for "Very Spicy", "Thai Hot", etc, and each time I've gotten a bland dish with a side of chili oil (that wasn't very potent either!). I always have trouble getting places to make food spicy enough, so I thought this might be my savior. Unfortunately, it's quite the opposite.Now the food itself isn't that bad. It's on par with your standard Asian take-out place, nothing more. They have a decent variety of dishes to choose from. Most people would probably be happy with their options. I'll just have to keep looking for some place that can actually make authentic spicy food.

We usually order delivery from these folks, but we decided to sit in for this meal. Simple and clean environment, kind of old style diner feel to the decor. The service was kind and food prepared fast. Though if you are vegan, you may need to be very clear, or just don't get any of the soups. 😊

Price is very good for what you get. Would rather a little smaller portion and up the quality for the money. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely needs a remodel. Lots of tape on the chairs and benches. Don't serve any liquor so just tea or soda

The food tasted good, but the price for the amount I got was too high. There was hardly enough rice to finish the main dish and the size of the main dish was about the size of a lunch menu item, not a dinner item and I ordered dinner at night. Other places give more food for the money. I wanted to rate this higher but the price really got to me for the amount I received.

Too sweet - both Thai dishes we ordered were so sweet that it was not enjoyable. I voiced my dissatisfaction nicely and no solution was offered, so I had to suffer through the meal. Not recommended.

Could be the best Asian food in Colorado. The Chez Tuey (Best Vietnamese place in boulder) of Longmont. Highly recommend. Very consistent, always delicious.

We couldn’t get through over the phone on a Saturday night. The line was either busy or they just didn’t answer. When we ordered through Grubhub our order had numerous missing items and it took them over 30 min to deliver. This was our last Spicy House meal.

I discovered Cha Shao Bao at Spicy House, and am forever indebted to them for this. They offer a good selection of dishes, both (American-) Chinese and Thai, with reasonable prices. Those buns tho

I ordered last night, the food was hot and ready when I picked it up. They charged me $9.75 for 4 extra small ribs with lots of fat and very little meat. At $2.40 per rib, this is outrageous! Don't order the ribs.

Spicy house is delicious!

Though the restaurant is small, the food is excellent. The hot and sour soup is the best that I've had in many, many years. The chicken dish I had (Spicy Chicken?) contained crisp, fresh vegetables with a rich, dark, flavorful sauce. Here fried rice costs 50¢ more, so I stayed with white rice. The egg roll was somewhat bland, but that seems to be the case almost everywhere nowadays. The fried wonton filled with cream cheese also had a rich flavor. The portions are generous and I took half of it home for another meal. The flavors were even better the second day. Overall, the food seemed prepared fresh on location and well worth a visit.
